E.A.S.D. Mestre Mateo School of Art and Design is a center of higher education, with a long tradition of training designers and artists. Located in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, it was founded in 1888 and is a public center dependent on the Xunta de Galicia.
The School offers Bachelor degrees in both Fashion Design and Product Design, with a duration of four years and 240 ECTS each. Our degrees are official, fully adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
EASD Mestre Mateo School of Art and Design also offers Undergraduate Design Specializations: two year Advanced Vocational Training in Fine Arts and Design. The specializations taught are Ephemeral Architecture, Sculpture, Artistic Photography and Artistic Jewellery. They are official qualifications, which enable the students to practice their craft, and work in their chosen field upon graduation.
EASD Mestre Mateo School of Art and Design pays special attention to its role as a dynamic cultural center, organizing regular exhibitions and events related to the genre of art and design, with a goal of bringing closer to its students the various forms of creativity in society.
